AI Privacy and Confidentiality Notice
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
This AI Privacy and Confidentiality Notice describes how Sentient Network, Inc. ("Sentient," "we," "us") handles data in connection with AI-powered features of the Audit Vault platform.
1. Our Commitments
1.1 No Training on Customer Data
We do not use Customer Data to train AI models.
Customer Data uploaded to Audit Vault is processed solely to provide the Services. It is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models — whether our own or those of third-party providers.
1.2 No Cross-Customer Data Sharing
Customer Data and AI outputs are never shared across customers. Each customer's data is isolated and processed independently.
1.3 Human-in-the-Loop Design
Our AI features are designed to assist human decision-making, not replace it. All AI-generated outputs are provided as suggestions for human review and verification.
2. Third-Party AI Providers
2.1 Enterprise Agreements
Sentient uses third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI) under enterprise agreements that include:
- Prohibitions on using Customer Data for training
- Data isolation and confidentiality protections
- Appropriate security measures
2.2 Sub-processor List
A list of AI sub-processors is available to customers upon request.
2.3 Provider Changes
We may change AI providers from time to time. All providers are subject to equivalent contractual protections.
3. Data Handling
3.1 Processing
Customer Data is processed by AI systems only as necessary to provide the requested features. Processing occurs in secure environments with appropriate access controls.
3.2 Retention
AI inputs and outputs are retained only as long as necessary to provide the Services, unless longer retention is required by law or requested by the customer.
3.3 Deletion
Upon termination of the customer agreement, Customer Data (including data processed by AI features) is deleted in accordance with our Data Processing Addendum.
4. AI Output Disclaimer
4.1 No Warranty of Accuracy
AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content. AI outputs are provided "as-is" as suggestions for human review.
4.2 Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Reviewing and verifying AI outputs before use
- Determining whether AI outputs are appropriate for their intended purpose
- Final decisions based on AI-assisted analysis
4.3 No Regulatory Guarantee
Use of AI features does not guarantee regulatory compliance. Customers remain responsible for their own compliance obligations.
5. Security
AI processing is subject to the same security controls as all Customer Data, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Access controls and authentication
- Audit logging
- Incident response procedures

6. Updates
We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to customers.
